The village of Seneca Falls has created a beautiful and calming waterfront atmosphere along the Seneca-Cayuga Canal that connects Cayuga Lake to Seneca Lake and the Erie Canal. Home to the National Women's Hall of Fame the village also claims to be one of Frank Capra's inspirations for the classic Christmas movie It's A Wonderful Life.
